No osprey presence yesterday, but in the evening a visit from an osprey nemesis ;)

TIGER has reminded us that we mustn't jump the gun when our ospreys don't appear on-cam, or even at the Centre, for a day or two, so we wait...
Love the emoticon, Scylla, but sorry to hear Patily's woes. I am hoping things will be resolved once the garden bird watch event is over. I've not been able to log into the main website to post my results :( It doesn't like the password/name combination, and I ain't changed nuffink m'lud.

Yesterday there was a group of visitors under the feeders - this is very rough-cut, I expect I've missed some subtleties:

Yesterday afternoon's Cresties - how many different ones were there? There was certainly more than one colour. They were the last ones at the peanuts. (Not edited except for gaps between visits.)

Just a wee reminder that Winterwatch (BBC 2, 20.00 UK time) is in the Cairngorms from Tuesday until Friday. From the BBC website they are "hoping to capture pine martens and red squirrels, golden eagles and crested tits". Ian
