I tried that on several threads, but after visiting another page, and then returning, I found it had defaulted to "oldest" again.

I believe there may be work in progress to provide alternative views. A comment was made at the end of the season to that effect but no definitive timescale.

I did email Peter last night to ask whether there was a problem. He hasn't responded, but the cam is up and running now.
Peter Carnyx did change from the rope going across the 'picture' to the branch going across and the rope going away. If you see what I mean ;)It working OK tonight.
