EDIT
Late in the day I changed the title of this thread from "DU" to "Off-Season Obs" ~ anyone is welcome to suggest a better title than the current one :)

No osprey presence yesterday, but in the evening a visit from an osprey nemesis ;)

TIGER has reminded us that we mustn't jump the gun when our ospreys don't appear on-cam, or even at the Centre, for a day or two, so we wait...

Hi Patily.
Birdies LG DU update.
I'm using the Reply link under the OP, hoping that it will post at the end of the existing 709 posts.
Just loaded the feeder and caught this by a split second:
Well caught, scylla. I was confused when I read the opening post, and was bright enough to scroll to the bottom and found your lovely red squirrel!

Ok I am trying to reply from what I think is the OP - opening page/photo/post at top of thread? That feels a bit weird I'm used to replying at the bottom of the last/the few previous latest posts.
I'm trying to post the crestie photo again, just to see if this function is working for me yet. The snap breaks my 'crestie rules' as I didn't cut his head off. I've tried twice to post this, using different photo sizes each time but each time, have failed as the 'file was too big'. Sorry. I'll figure that out after I've gone off to have a little sulk.
OY. Hello everyone. I'm so happy it's back, but it's SO disorienting for me right now. I'm Replying to the OP, as has been suggested.

I just discovered that if I click to sort by "Newest" then the most recent post is at the top, instead of at the bottom. It remains to be seen if this will help or hinder my navigation of the forum.
I'm going to try posting a picture. Don't think this qualifies as Off Season but it'll probably be spring 2019 before I'm fully used to this new set up
Warning! This post contains atrocious spelling, and terrible grammar. Approach with extreme edginess.
I took the 320 out of the Insert box and replaced it with 550, then blanked the 240 pixels, and my squirrel came out as above. But it's time-consuming - maybe not too bad as a one-off, but add on all the other difficulties...
