Birdies LG DU update.
A few minutes ago Monty arrives with another fish!
Great photos Mike. We should savour every moment left
I bet Monty will be glad to see the back of them, it'll give his body a chance to recover after the leg stretchings he's been getting.

Monty has been known sometimes to hang around for two days after the others have left. Not sure if that is 'me time' for him to prepare for his migration or if he is just making sure that all the kids have finally gone or both.
Kind regards, Ann

Thanks, Tiger, was it really that long?! Amazing, how time flies when you're having fun, as they say. Must have been an earlier year that stuck in my mind! Gave a lot of time for some wonderful captures so hope he does it again.
Just one bird in sight so far but Chat says there were four about earlier.
Monty flew in with a fish but there's no one home!

Hi Alison. Just got the same capture. Monty looks incredulous! Hard to believe. Just as well you got the proof!
