Returning from my weekend, I see EJ has kept to her Love Tree routine, and entertained her suitor(s). Sheila had a good question about her mantling at this point, when EJ surely has been able to get acquainted with GJ. Maybe the mantling means, "I am not sure of you yet, even though I am allowing you to be in my presence."
Scylla went above and beyond, as usual, trying to piece together all the bits of comings and goings into a cohesive presentation. We also settled on EJ's foot being fine, despite earlier worries and talk of arthritis and toe-tapping. I leave you with a recap of scylla's final video of EJ's playful lunchtime gambol in the skies, followed by skillful cam work I assume by LornaB. EJ indeed seems to have enjoyed herself, as she landed back in the Love Tree with a shake and a tail wag.

Hi SCYLLA and Everybody I can't even see any movement of the trees
Refreshed but it is still as still
Good Morning All and Mike
Thank you for your lovely start off CC
Thank you for your overnight and early morning caps, and videos SCYLLA, even the deer do not get past you despite it being dark.
Also have to mention yesterdays sterling coverage of the days events by yourself and Sheila, there is never much goes past you both. TKU!!!
The perch is still empty, and so far NO REPORTS from AVIEMORE OSPREYS.
I think the perch looks closer this morning, or am I imagining that. Maybe LornaB is manning the controls, which is always appreciated by the DU's.
EJ's Memorial Balgavies Loch Ospreys 2023
Hi Mary.
Hi Mike - I wonder if EJ has gone fishing :-) Maybe changed the fishmonger to Rothiemurchus this morning LOL...
I think Patily is here also - so Morning P.
Hi MARY
Currently we are the three musketeers!
Which one are you then Mike? lol I think I will be Aramis
Still and empty perch, have even checked Rothiemurchus Facebook page but no updates there either.
In fact I didn't even see the one that Valerie posted the other day, wonder where they posted that about EJ fishing there!!!!
"Which one are you then Mike? lol "...whichever one was old and grumpy LOL
Still nothing from Aviemore Ospreys either.
I see Gordon mentions that AU6 also dropped a fish, I think it happens a lot.
The very first photo of EJ I bought was way back in 2011, I was so excited to see a photograph of her, it was in Poolewe Village Hall a local photographer was displaying a whole mix of photographs, when there was one of EJ, back in those days you didn't see many photographs of her.
Anyway he explained that he had got her at Rothiemurchus Fishery and said that she had dropped her fish on the side of the pond and gone back for it, so it looks like it is something that occurs a lot, she was 7 years younger then, still a young thing lol.... (Just thought I'd mention this wee story)...
