Yesterday we saw the "proud lady osprey" perched majestically on the Love Tree branch after her fish. (pic and comment by Limpy)
She spent some time nestorizing, and brought in a lovely licheny branch. (birdsong)
It is pleasant to watch EJ comfortably whiling away her days, not having to deal with loud demanding chicks this year, until the south calls her back.
Wonderful captures, vids and story-telling Scylla. My goodness what an exciting spell, no wonder you had difficulty keeping up with it all.
It is great to see Cromarty again, but not with another female! If they are a pair, they must be bonding as they appear to be roaming, or have a failed nest.
Thanks for the heads up about the Blog, Alan. All seems peaceful now. The last I saw of EJ she is still on the Love Tree perch, but the cam is of course back on the nest now.
Have a wonderful time in the Abernethy area, Catlady. It's a beautiful area to explore.
I hope to be able contribute more next week, but will be around tomorrow.
