I still can't stop the recording, in case someone suddenly descends.

More skydancing in the very distance :o

Here's GJ, did not land on EJ's back, they are mantling at opposite sides of the nest.

I have to take a kitchen break, otherwise there will be an accident out there.

It's all under control here (famous last words).

So I get back late tonight and check in after all the reported skydancing to see this.

While I was gone EJ left, GJ remains, he's been looking out over the back and just turned and came forward, then flew.

He was waiting for a good time before looking around one more time and silently lifting off from the right side of the nest.© RSPB - Loch Garten and Carnyx Wild

Hi scylla! Wonder where EJ went? Fishing?
I LOVE the sepia! Maybe it will be the historic photo of them when they were only lovers, before family came along!

Editor has crashed with all the clips in it :'(

Good morning, CC!  I'm hoping the editor will reopen all the clips but I've had to open it as many as 7 times in the past, and sometimes they're lost for ever.
