This is the thread which will cover the second year of the osprey translocation to Poole
Tiger Signature
Thank you Alison. Great to get your updates.
Birdies LG DU update.
Thanks for that ALISON
In confirmation of Alison's splendid report - a tweet from Poole, with a short vid

Thanks for posting that, Sheila. I meant to but forgot!
I have been following this from the beginning, but not posted. It must be so exciting Alison to be involved with the project. It is good that these projects are available allowing the birds to be moved south, and hopefully boost numbers in future years. I have just come back from a week in Nethy Bridge, and went to Loch Garten on 3 days for a few hours, and that was exciting enough!
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
It is beyond exciting, Catlady! I have to keep pinching myself as I walk to the pens with a bag containing raw fish. And if it means we will have breeding ospreys here in the future, even better.
Glad you had such a great time in Scotland.
RSPB ARNE showing live video of an Osprey perched on the reserve. This is an un-ringed Female and no doubt the one that has been seen frequently this season.
The live stream is on Facebook with a Chat thread.
This might help.
Two things of note today...
1) An adult osprey was flying around quite low near the pens when I took out the midday feed.
2) James Bond 'flew' from nest to round log perch, fell off, then went back and did it again.
I love my (voluntary) job!
Thank you Alison. Dinas fledged at 2 31pm today.
Thanks, Mike. I'll check Dyfi out now.
I think 'my' adult osprey might have been the one that was on the live feed from Arne earlier today, but who knows?
Got a quick but great view of 014 as she sat on the perch rail, facing inwards, today. What a gorgeous bird. She's flying from nest to rail regularly now.
