Thanks, Tiger, for starting the new thread. It is a lovely thought that by this time next year we may have seen the return to the UK of one or more birds from the first batch of Ospreys who were translocated to Poole Harbour in 2017.

Two were spotted in their winter homes so that sounds good. Unfortunately one was found dead.
Thank you Richard. Looks like the pens are having an extension to cope with the increase in numbers!
Birdies LG DU update.
The one that was found dead was LS6, which was the third bird to be found in the winter grounds.
LS3 and LS7 were the other 2 birds seen, alive and well.
To see 3 out of the 8 released birds is good, and there may be more we don't know about.
