Lovely insight. Thanks Alison
Birdies LG DU update.
Fun and games today. Strong winds made the lunchtime feed very difficult. Everything wanted to blow away! Got it done somehow though.
Apart from 013 and 014, the other females are 008 and 010.
Five birds are now using perches and the first releases are not far away.
Back again tomorrow with an even more interesting weather forecast!
Well done Alison. Joys of the task!!
Thanks for the news ALISON

A short blog about my second shift.
Thank you Alison, what a lovely account. May you have many more such experiences.
A truly wonderful Blog , Alison. Thank you, it's a terrific read
Thanks, Mike. At least the wind is starting to drop now - doing the feeds has been extremely difficult these last few days.
I believe that 013 and 014 are being released today, but official confirmation will follow, I'm sure. I'm on shift early tomorrow, when there MAY be another couple of releases. Exciting times! (Edit: As this is unofficial, please don't share it elsewhere on the internet.)
Great blog Alison. What a wonderful opportunity!
