This photo of EJ by Charlie Davidson after fishing unsuccessfully at Aviemore is beautifully backlit. However, for most of the rest of the day she was seen on the PTZ munching on her sizeable fish, perhaps from Rothiemurchus. (framing by scylla)
At the moment, the nest is b+w and empty, no surprise. No moon and no moths. :-D

Aviemore have said, one minute ago, 5 Ospreys so far but no ID mentioned on any.

I just discovered that there's an osprey called George in Long Island :o
Back up to campost, I think - not much noise about it.
Down onto the nest again, after a minute she flew off silently.
I'll do that visit asap, need to do a couple of chores.
