Yesterday's intruders maintained the spring in EJ's step, here's GJ with rival NF2:
EJ with JC6:
Snap #2 thanks to Moffer
(No prizes for guessing what I've been up to but not yet found an ideal result.)
I've realised that I forgot all about JC6 due to editor problems yesterday, better commemorate him with a vid. EDIT - but I can't, as my cam was down between 1206 and 1240hr, while I was "not here" :'(
Tonight the cam has been down more than half a dozen times since midnight, it's up at the mo.
IMAGICAT
A chirrup and a flap... and EJ has flown from the Fish Perch
Birdie's DU Summaries 2018 https://www.imagicat.com/
Cam remains on the Fish Perch...
Camera remains on the fish perch
15.43 Ah!! here she is sitting on the nest, preening again! Perhaps the view is better from up there!
She's preening as the cam finds her
15.47 She continues looking over the nest
and then takes off...
and returns to the Fish Perch, and continues preening! She will have the cleanest feathers out there!
16.16 EJ has flown from the perch, and landed with sharp chips, on, I assume, the nest. She has made no further call.
16.22 Cam found her back on the nest
16.26 A wee bird calls, and adult? , responds
16.36 EJ has flown .... again!
again... back to the Fish Perch
I wonder whether she has caught a fish for herself today.
No sign of GJ while I've been watching today, nor any intruder.
I am disappearing for a bit. EJ is still on the Fish Perch
I can't find anything significant to add to your reports, for which "thank you very much", Sheila :-*
... except, the PTZ has (inadvertently?) been left on. This could be a long dark night for a change.
Evening all, been in garden all day, and now caught up with today. Lots of flying to and fro, no sign of any fish today or the intruders. Lovely photos again. I see the camera has been left on the roaming view!
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
