No sight of our precious EJ yesterday! Some of us thought we heard her voice tho.
GJ was seen manfully defending on his own and an intruder touched down briefly.
More intrusions were heard later in the day, and Trying saw flybys.
It's a very, very windy night, but doesn't feel as tho the life-threatening storm has quite hit.
In case you missed it, there was a very nice BLOG from busy Blair, with news of another nest in the area.

Now back to the waving branch behind which I can barely see an osprey colored blob. Yes, and a bit of whiteness of the head here.© RSPB - Loch Garten and Carnyx Wild
PTZ scanning for other signs of life... back to the Love Tree view.

My Flickr account is here
For the sake of repeat my pics, this shows the treetop which is obscuring the view! Ignore the red blob, that showed where EJ was sitting on 10 June.
It also shows how next year any scanning might be somewhat restricted!
This was taken in 2012, and shows how much the tree adjacent, but the other side in our view, to the dead tree (at least I think it is separate, but in reality I don't know!), has grown. IN 2012 it was well below the cam.
Birdie's DU Summaries 2018 https://www.imagicat.com/
Hi all. Lurker alert. I’ve met some of you on the Weekly Chat as MicheleD. I’ve reverted to lurking as I just can’t keep up. Many thanks to the dedicated DUers for the many hours of work posting for those of us who are unable to spend much time watching. I’m relived to say, after many hours of travel from SoCal, I’m settled for a few days in Inverness. A pilgrimage to the VC is planned for Saturday. Don’t know if any of you will be there (or how I’ll recognize you), but would love to meet you.
I visited last month, a day when sadly EJ was conspicuous by her absence! Just get chatting to anyone who will listen and you will be surprised who may be there. I met MaryGK like that, and Clare (at Minsmere). Just mention the Forum, and if Jess is around say hello to her too.
I am sure you will have a lovely time in Scotland; it's a beautiful part of the British Isles.
Again the PTZ searching for signs of life and back to the Love tree.
We're back on the nest.
Here's our girl !!!
