Yesterday brought wind and rain but no fish, plus a blog from Chris at the VC revealing that we're all in the same boat - we do not know why GJ has become unforthcoming or what he does or where he goes.
Late evening, GJ popped in and out, "upsetting" EJ greatly:
Pandy favoured us with an insightful poem.
Last evening the cam started freezing, and after a down and an up it's been down since 00:32hr:

Sheila Here is an article on moulting in ospreys
Tiger Signature
Many thanks, Tiger, I will read that along with the link CRinger provided with interest.
Another interesting twitter comment from Aviemore Ospreys. The question "Have you seen any sign of an unringed Osprey who might be George from Loch Garten?" They tweeted:
EJ is calling again

Thanks Sheila much appreciated.
11.43 EJ has left for a comfort break. She called as she flew off. Feathers strewn over the nest
11.44 She is back, and called again. She has left after someone I think. She waved her head around trying to focus a view, and left. It was short lived, and she is back, still looking behind her. Loose feathers are flying in the air off the nest
11.43
Who or what did you see out there, EJ?
that was useful, adding to my knowledge all the time.. Best lesson ever learnt was how eggs breathe etc... fascinating stuff!!
Hi everyone ☺
Thanks for all the updates, pictures etc since I last posted. I see the fish less situation continues. Poor EJ must be scunnered with how things are going. Still despite things being as they are, she manages to look Phenomenal
Warning! This post contains atrocious spelling, and terrible grammar. Approach with extreme edginess.
12.09 - I was side tracked, and EJ has flown... no call. ENS
I am assuming if I can hear 'hum' we have sound.
12.12 she isn't back.
