Well what can I say? Yesterday was a rather grim day as EJ received the square root of zilch in the way of fish. George only made two very brief appearances on the nest, and sadly seems to be seriously neglecting his duties. So what hope is there for the new day? The best scenario is that George suddenly finds good form again and we can all breath a collective sigh of relief. Of course we have to think about EJ reaching a stage where she is driven to fish for herself and thus leaving the eggs exposed to possible predation. In the current circumstances I would be happy to see EJ fend for herself.
Warning! This post contains atrocious spelling, and terrible grammar. Approach with extreme edginess.
I'm off now. See you later folks (hopefully)

'Twould have to be brown or Splenda, Limpy ;)
From your video Scylla, it seems to me i can hear corvids amidst the background noises. I may be going nuts of course. i am known for hearing voices in small waterstreams. (At least corvids tend to be real! ;) )

hi everybody, thanks for all the photos and updates. I put a post in the other day about dehydration so thanks very much for putting my mind at rest and saying EJ was drinking. having come from a hawking family and they have bred them Claire was right in what she said that the feathers do fall out but EJ looks like she is losing primaries? to me she looks like she is becoming submissive[weak]to how she was when she turned up 3 weeks ago. is she losing condition? only post now and then not very good at typing. moffer when a bird migrates wings out no energy thermals carry them incubation different ball game
