Yesterday's Daily Update saw some 370 posts, and spread to 25 pages. Trust me if you ever get the chance to read over it you will find it a great read. Not sure I could ever find the brevity to sum it up in one post.
Here's to Tuesday, and hopefully it will see EJ settle down with the most suitable male. She is on the nest just now. Quite windy at LG

NO SOUND:
Hello, we have changed the software at LG to help sort out the 16:9 issue we have had with YouTube. It will not have sound initially, although we hope to have this sorted with a little help from Chris on site over the next day. Peter

That'll be because Peter at Carnyx changed the aspect ratio back to 16:9, hooray, 3 cheers! ;)

Noted and thank you - I shan't whinge any more... till the next time ;)
Thank you for the update on the situation Peter.
Thanks for the updates. Just on a quick break from work. Sadly no fish yet, I see. One of those two males has to take charge and start acting like this is his nest and EJ is his woman. Simple equation my feathered friend. Fish plus sky dancing on a regular basis equals the beautiful EJ plus offspring.
What a very sad situation for EJ.
Very windy but still she stands by the egg. I expect fishing will be difficult so unless one of these males have found the fish farm, I don't think we'll see a fish soon. But we can only keep hoping.
Scene just now
Perhaps EJ worries that both males will take it as a definite rejection if they watch her coming back with a fish she has caught herself. To a male osprey an available, tough, beautiful and very hungry female osprey should be the pinnacle of achievement.
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.

What is that?
Thanks to Moffer for getting this. Would that he will get some ”new ideas” due to seeing the egg properly now. *fingers crossed*
2016: first time in history an Osprey nested in the NL. 2018: 2 active nests! 2019 a storm interferes. 2020: a third active nest in a tree!
Male seemed to arrive from nowhere and mated
After mating he returned to the nest and some wing flapping as if defending.
All very quick and of course the screen froze
