This is from 02.27 this morning. I'm stunned.
Sorry if this is a daft question but is it possible for a seasonal breeding bird such as an Osprey to lay an egg in her usual laying time, even though this is unfertilised, simply to clear the chamber? Once again sorry if this seams daft.
