Oddly, in an unexpected turn of events, we saw much of EJ's new beau, and he received attention from RSPB Facebook featuring him nicely posed, as well as on the BBC news as the latest mate for our venerable and inimitable and beautiful EJ. However, we did not see Her Beautifulnessnessnessness, per se. Having arrived to the nest 18 days after EJ, the young male (aka Arnie or Arnold) has busied himself with his specialty of licheny sticks for the nest and nestcupping (scylla's vid and Moffer's captures).
Where was EJ? Watching from one of her perches? Eating fish? Tune in tomorrow for another episode of LG's Lives of the Osprey!

Morning everyone. There seems to be a lot of problems with cams and sites this season, or is it my imagination.
So, EJ hasn't been seen, but beau has been busy, like you Mary, I would like LG to try and fill in the blanks.
Good morning all.
Birdies LG DU update.
Good Morning Mike
Just checked Cam Still Down! and we have no idea where EJ is!!!! wasn't seen on webcam yesterday I believe:-(
EJ's Memorial Balgavies Loch Ospreys 2023
Can't help imagining EJ sitting calmly eating a big fish in a nearby tree, and laughing at us all behind her hand (wing?) whilst her new toyboy toils away at the housework!
I'm sure all will be fine in the end, but it is certainly frustrating for us LG fans.
What a lovely thought Lindybird
