I hope we get an Easter present today with the arrival of Mrs.G or Aran, it is always such a relief when they return.
At the moment it is an Empty Nest.

She timed it nicely as i was just off for my nap ;)
Might be a bit long, difficult to decide what to leave in/take out :-/
IMAGICAT
Here's Aran getting his first look :) He can't wait to take over incubation.
I must say, she did very well considering no nestcup :'(
I hope there's not going to be an argument.
She won, for now ;) I'll do a vid soonish.
That's great news scylla, thank you so much for the video of egg laying!

Great video Scylla. Thank you.
Aran arrives :)))
Delighted for both of the proud parents-to-be. I hope everything goes well!
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
I saw Aran fly off when i checked back in @ 15:10
i zoomed for egg-splodology purposes, when he returned seconds after and landed in my snap :)
he was looking to all sides, turning his head and alert-ish
but a minute later the missus landed on the porch
2016: first time in history an Osprey nested in the NL. 2018: 2 active nests! 2019 a storm interferes. 2020: a third active nest in a tree!
