As we have had a monthly thread for Glaslyn since 2016, I have started the thread for April.

I hope we get an Easter present today with the arrival of Mrs.G or Aran, it is always such a relief when they return.
At the moment it is an Empty Nest.
EJ's Memorial Balgavies Loch Ospreys 2023
She left the fish on the side of the nest (right) and moved to the left. Then she took off, but whether she grabbed the fish on her way I can't tell from the camera angle. She flew to the right. Ah! She left it on the side! Did she see Blue 24? Or has she had enough for now? I hope the crows don't come back for it!

So pleased to see Mrs G home! First glance for me was with her trademark flounder and being bothered by crows - nothing changes, thankfully, here.
Given she is 10 days late, does seem to imply weather has been holding up the passage of ospreys. Fingers crossed Aran is not far behind.
Tiger and Chloe's Osprey Info
I came home just now, exhausted (it happens), saw a flounder hanging on and wondered...
Ohmy, i am so happy with the news! *teary eyed but smiling*
2016: first time in history an Osprey nested in the NL. 2018: 2 active nests! 2019 a storm interferes. 2020: a third active nest in a tree!
Trouble ahead...
I wonder where its mates are!! There won't be much left for Mrs G at this rate!
A nice, fresh fish will be a good meal for that crow. I'm pleased someone is benefiting from it!
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
The flounder is too tough for the Crow to get a good bite out of it - but it's trying!
Deleted snap, plenty already by the time my network woke up ;)

The crow has had enough, and flown ENS
There's absolutely no need to delete, Scylla. The more the merrier, and it will have taken you time to do.
