Osprey Chat thread for APRIL 2018

White KL has not yet returned at Lake District - Kielder Nest 3 -pair (unringed) - Dylan at Clywedog - Delilah at Borders - Cullen and Odin were the two males that went missing early .  One is back at Lochter (nor sure which )

Tweed Valley has one back but who is not certain - The main nest definitely has one occupant but the osprey has only been seen with his back to the camera so far and so although we are really hoping that it is white leg SS, we cannot say for certain at this point.

I have an unringed male at Bassenthewaite on 31st March Was that just one passing through?

Patily , correct Unring (as he known :) ) did arrive 31 March and this is the female he is courting if White KL does not return  www.ospreywatch.co.uk/wordpress

Thanks VALERIE I thought I couldn't have got the record wrong but on the Osprey Countdown list it says Unring is 11 days late????? What am I missing?

Patily we have all the dates of arrival etc on our facebook group so that is what I go by , unring is back for sure :)  

On my tablet, so no smart quotes!! But this vid is a gem, talk about enthusiastic and confident. He has a future in broadcasting!
