The cam has been down since yesterday evening. Carnyx have been informed.
Yesterday EJ favoured us with hours of photo opportunities, and they were taken advantage of (see the DU for the 29th), but we had no evidence of a potential suitor in the area.
However, reports of males starting to return after (probably) being delayed by bad weather are encouraging.
Here was EJ bringing in a stick, one of a few - just for the sake of a colourful intro ;)

Hi Patily.
Birdies LG DU update.
Hi MIKE
Good morning, all. It's reassuring to know that not only is EJ looking in wonderful shape she is probably breakfasting on the remains of that impressive fish she caught yesterday. Hope the camera is back up soon.
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
Good morning all. Shame about the cam. Let's hope we have a nice surprise when it comes back on.
Good morning. I add my hopes that the cam is back up soon. Maybe this is the day a lovely male will arrive with a fish for EJ?
Morning to you all also, a quick look in before work, hope a male arrives today. Sleety snow up in Caithness just now so hope it is better for the lady at LG, when the camera is up. Will catch up in the evening, have a lovely osprey day all.
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
Camera is back up. No-one on it.
Thank you Chris. Your fans will be delighted!
...down again.
