A quiet day yesterday after an early appearance by EJ... until the peace was shattered by (my interpretation) EJ's alarm-screaming as she chased an intruder with her fish. Or! What's your interpretation?
She then landed on the nest, flapping frantically for a few moments, then flew off with fish and we saw no more of her.

I would like to think that that meant we did have a second osprey at LG yesterday afternoon. Please, whoever's up there, send a more welcome visitor today ;)

According to me, the cam froze at about 21:50hr yesterday evening and the blue Carnyx screen appeared @ 22:01hr, and so it has stayed. I have emailed Carnyx.
IMAGICAT
Yay! A real pose-fest:
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
Thank you all, really lovely captures this morning!

You must still be chuffed to bits that you not only predicted her return you picked the right day.
I'm having to tweak the brightness and contrast on my VLC settings as that mist seems to be worsening.

Yes Clare, I'm delighted she returned, and on the day I picked, she just got the time wrong LOL. Been using the same date and time every year so I am chuffed.
Oh, I love to see an osprey
In the early morning mist.....
I gaze upon the scene with awe
-- It's better than sun kissed.
It's more of a mini drama
Where the play is acted out -
If soon we have the next scene
I will begin to shout!
The Queen of this tall nest
Is regal as can be:
She has so many loyal subjects
And one of them, is Me!!
Lovely to see her in another setting Thank you LG
Brilliant, Lindy!
Thanks, Clare. It's EJ who's brilliant!
