Her Royal Minxness kept us waiting yesterday, whiling away the time with a fish under the nest.

No reports of any other osprey in the immediate area, but EJ is concentrating on readying the nest - she's looking very eager to get on with her mission.

Thank you, Peter.
I hope that the VC can keep us updated re osprey activities.
Thank you Peter.
Birdies LG DU update.
Good evening, all. With the camera down I find myself very glad I took such a lot of captures this morning!
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
You don't need any excuse, Clare. Bring 'em on!!

Hi guys, apologies for the webcam fiasco! Why is nothing ever simple?? We evidently hadn't put enough gaffer tape on the cable (Mike, I'm so sorry, and after all your gaffer tape advice too!!). The camera is hopefully going to be back up and running tomorrow afternoon - we need an engineer out to it and he's arriving early afternoon.
I know it's frustrating, (believe me, I know very well!) but these things are sent to try us. Please bear with us.

Hi, returned home from our lovely week in Nethy. Unfortunately we didn’t manage to spot EJ in the skies around LG but we did see a buzzard being mobbed by crows very near the nest. I hope EJ doesn’t have the same problem when she goes off fishing!!
As I said earlier, these things happen, but as long as we get to hear any 'important' news I am sure you will let us know! It is wonderful that EJ us back and clearly claiming her nest once more. It would be amazingly wonderful if Odin were to appear too....
Thank you Jess. Next thing is you'll be alleging that I pull your leg about Gaffer Tape!! Now would I??
Good evening all, a work day and late home, by time the shopping was put away and had my tea, I am now catching up on today's happenings. Well what a fantastic array of beautiful photos, NO Clare never too many! No male today, but time enough yet. Will our boy Odin return, only time will tell. Thanks all for the updates. Hope the camera gets fixed quickly tomorrow afternoon, at least it is now and not later at a more crucial point in time!
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

Maybe this is the "other" camera? I was wondering why there had been no pannin' 'n scannin'.
