RSPB have advised the live stream is to go live this weekend so it shouldn’t be too long now until we get our first glimpse of the nest.

Hopefully we’ll see the beautiful EJ return soon to her nest and long may she reign.
But until then, a thread to record all our observations until the ospreys arrive and the DU starts.

I can't use Chrome any more as they have hijacked the F6 key, which I use as a snapshot hotkey >:( I'm using Opera, closely related, it has the same (reliable) auto-refresh add-on.

Still down for me too.
IMAGICAT
That bit of wood to the bottom left looks like a lizard! Is the nest as it was left or do you think they have done some housekeeping?
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
Early glitches on video, growl on sound:
Hello, Yes I'm at Loch Garten beavering away. The camera was installed a few days ago and I am completing the various links from the nest to the VC. There will be no YouTube yet, that will be set up later. Also the stream will be a bit intermittent over the next couple of days. Peter
What a clear picture. It looks just as EJ left it.
Yes, it does, could it be a piece of antler?
Thank you Peter, please keep up the good work.

This was our last 2017 day, Catlady, a completely different angle, we can't see the bordering sticks at the moment (I'm not complaining, am neutral till it sinks in!):
Hello Peter !!!!!!! How super of you to pop in! I've been holding off pestering you (and Toby), it had only crossed my mind because I have a laptop at the mender's... bad timing >:(
Thanks for everything :)))
Thank you Peter. Hopefully both you and Jess have got messages. Great quality. Stay safe and warm up there!
Birdies LG DU update.
