The Foulshaw webcam is now live.
Hope the ospreys use this nest this year!
The chick has had a feed this morning, White made an attempt to feed until Blue returned and pushed him out the way.
Ha ha, great you witnessed that! I feel YW loves to feed chicks, even if "sitting on" them is a bit too much. ;) I missed the feeds this morning, and by now an irritant stick is blocking the view when the "full-nest with view"-cam is on.
One view of the proud mother from yesterday afternoon:
view just now, booo, i didnt see a thing :p

2016: first time in history an Osprey nested in the NL. 2018: 2 active nests! 2019 a storm interferes. 2020: a third active nest in a tree!
I was on my ipad so it was a bit of miracle that I got anything.
No posts today When I looked in 35 was on the side of the nest Bobble put its wobbly head up briefly but I didn't see any other movement I scanned through the comments to see if anybody said anything about a second hatch but they are very confusing to look through....2 years ago mixed up with 2 months....the latest I could find was 25 days ago when Mike posted a picture of the 3 eggs By the time I had made the capture 35 was settling down to brood again

White is quite keen to feed the chick, both parent birds were just on the nest.
It looks really gloomy and overcast 35, I presume, well hunkered down
2 chicks now at Foulshaw.
