The Foulshaw webcam is now live.
Hope the ospreys use this nest this year!
Unless there is a new site that I haven't found yet, their stats page gives useful information up to 2016, but doesn't yet included 2017.
Their fifth breeding year together, but in their first year, 2013, "after the expected incubation period they abandoned the nest".

Great to see you YW
Sheila, the River Kent estuary is away in the distance, so most likely to see White YW coming in straight towards the camera, or else from the right. The estuary is less then a kilometre away at its nearest point to the nest.
Many thanks Ringlet. I've stayed at Arnside before now, not knowing about Foulshaw!
It seems she has given up waiting - or has a fish been delivered and she's flow off, and he too! Speculation.
People quite regularly see ospreys fishing at Arnside - though I never have, despite many an hour whiled away over a coffee at one of the cafés looking out over the estuary!
Very happy to see YW Home, even happier if 35 lays eggs on this nest, as missed it last season. This is a very nice nest to follow.
Sadly I cannot get the webcam this morning.

@10:19h she is calling calling calling...
sorry for the delay in posting.
2016: first time in history an Osprey nested in the NL. 2018: 2 active nests! 2019 a storm interferes. 2020: a third active nest in a tree!
and just now, together. she is talkative, but no longer calling (as then her whole body seems involved = power)
