Earlier I posted the latest position for Blue LH0(17) 640 (from Clarach's first nest in 2017) who is still enjoying life in Heulva, Spain. I then realised it was still the 2017 thread. So I am reposting on this 2018 Aberfoyle thread. Or should Blue LH0(17) be on the Satellite Tracked Ospreys thread, rather than on the 2018 Season?
The link to the 2017 thread is here, and I will repeat some of Mary's start to that thread:
ABERFOYLE WEBCAM LINK - It operates between the hours of 09.30 am to 5.30 pm.
THE LODGE AT FOREST VISITOR CENTRE - Facebook Page where you will find current information and also historic info on the project.

Just to let everyone know that the Satellite tracked juvenile LH0 has been seen today his roost site near Huelva in Spain , strangely enough Manu who went with Chris Wood to the site told me that a ringer in Spain had often seen him eating a fish on a post !!!! Manu is the guide who we had when we went to find the 2012 juvenile Caledonia (Loch Garten ) , so wonderful when they are seen . Thank you Chris and Manu .

Wonderful news, and well-done Chris and Manu. Mr Osprey spotter strikes again!
Fantastic to see him looking in great condition :)

Great news indeed. Celebrations from Wales to Scotland!
Birdies LG DU update.
Further to Dyfi's post y'day, a link for which was posted above, Chris has given me permission to post some of his other pics. The sat data had suggested one of his regular roosts was in a row of trees, some way from a road and using this information he went on the search!
It around 08.30hr that he was spotted. Two and a half hours later the data suggested he was fishing on the Rio Tinto. Osprey spotting is very much down to luck!
Well done Chris and Manu, well done Monty, and well done Clarach! He is clearly quite settled here, with his roost sites, and his fishing area, and if he spends the next two years here he will do well!
Hi Sheila (also Valerie & Mike), thanks for the updates. Ian
Well LH0 has updated today (16/02) at 06.53 and his data point is in the same place as Chris saw him yesterday so his visitors didn't frighten him at all :)
Just watching Drunkie and Katrine, the Aberfoyle pair until 2016, on Channel 5 (Loch Lomond a Year in the Wild). In 2016, the nest was inhabited by a new pair, then of course, in 2017, Clarach and her mate. 45 days until she returns?
I didn't know Katrine was ringed. Green 011?
Korky I took some photo's from the Aberfoyle Visitor Centre when I have been there.
There seems to be some ambiguity in Katrine's age as you will see from the screen shots.
The first two photos from the screens were taken in 2013
Then I took these photos from the screens in October 2015
You can just see her Leg Ring in this photo.
At least we know what age Clarach is :-)

Great photos thanks Mary.
