Pat: I can sympathise with your dilemma, I think most of us suffer that quandary.
Annette: belated happy birthday.
Dibnlib: chin up and keep going. She must have a very brave and sensitive husband.
Two days ago I realised that a cold was on its way. Didn't bode well for dealing with asthma. Correct, this morning we had to ask younger SD to come over as I couldn't handle transfers for OH after collapsing after the first important one this morning. Hit it with everything we had (don't tell doctors!) and, hopefully will now manage transfer to bed.
She has also been informed that her kitchen is being ripped out on Wednesday! It will shorten the time scale for her moving in. She also found out, when she contacted Severn Trent water that although they supply all fresh water to the Forest of Dean, they cannot recognise her house. It has only been there for around 200 years in its original guise and all the houses around her are supplied by them. So much for petty bureaucracy. Guess she might have free water and sewage!!!!?!(not)
Oh, my friend the whirlygig is back!
Happy Birthday Annette, from me. Hope you had a lovely day.

Dibnlib - sorry to hear about your cousin but glad to see that she is making progress. Hope son of friend enjoys his holiday.
Lindybird - enjoy your time with your son
Weather has been mixed but today has been grey and damp. Dau took me to a local shopping centre and managed to pick up 4 new tops from a voucher I had for Christmas - all to go towards the cruise. Tend to be buying a new "wardrobe" bit by bit. Got to indulge once in a blue moon.
Saw the supermoon on Wed evening - took photos but my camera hasn't got the right lense on for really good close ups.
Went to see "Darkest Hour" and what an excellent film it is. Heard on the news that it takes about 4 hrs to put Barry? Oldfields makeup on and about an hour to take it off. Thoroughly recommend it.
