OG is grateful for kind thoughts. She did say "Goodbye" last time she posted. She is staying off the thread to avoid offending other posters again.
Ospreys Rule OK, but Goldfinches come a close second!
EE - OG surely didn't say anything to offend and I'm sorry that she feels this way. There have been lots of things that have provoked more heated discussion here (Brexit for example!) Please know that I, for one, miss her presence and send her my very best wishes.
Diane: Here's a link to a BBC story. www.bbc.com/.../20171218-what-its-like-living-in-californias-mountain-lion-country
OG: I've clearly missed something. :-((
Alan: Thank YOU and the same to you and yours. :-)
Am hoping tomorrow's - ahem - "wind event" will blow ash off everything in the garden, etc., but otherwise do no harm. Feeling less discombobulated today after the last week or so, so lots of catch up around here plus am sorting out e-mails re upcoming (regular) freelance gig. Important to follow up with folks for the next issue or they'll all disappear over Xmas/NY and I can't risk missing a deadline. Will be more chatty later....
OG - after wracking my brain (what's left of it!) I can't think of anything you have said that could have upset anyone. I for one always appreciate your comments - thoughtful, amusing, supportive and always interesting. Please continue to post here ... your thoughts certainly lighten my day, and I'm sure I'm not the only one who enjoys reading your posts.
OG -I hope it wasn't me! I don't post very often so maybe it was something I said. PLEASE come back OG
I think she's worried that she started a discussion with this post:
Quite a lot of people commented on driving and age after this and I think she worries that it's criticism. I've got to say that OG made a good point - and wasn't offensive in the slightest.
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
OG you were not offensive at all.
I can recommend all cat lovers follow this link. This story has a very happy ending!
OG: Not offended as you made some very good points.
