Another window from Keith ex-Congregational church, now National Trust.

Just popping in to say I hope Hurricane Ophelia passes by with minimal damage to anyone in its path.  Take care everyone.

Like Annette, I hope everyone will be safe from Hurricane Ophelia. Such a strange path for a hurricane.

Good  Morning, Everyone. Heavy showers here but no bad winds yet: we are going to get the hurricane here, after it passes over Ireland, so decided to go home before it struck! Packing up now, as I eat breakfast! Thanks for your kind thoughts, Diane and Annette.

Annette: I've been meaning to say that I hope the terrible fires aren't causing you breathing problems. I know that the air quality in much of California is ghastly right now. I hope you aren't suffering. 

My friends aren't faring too well with their holiday plans at the moment. One went to Barcelona last Thurs and comes home on Wed. The daughter of another friend flew to San Francisco on Sat. They will be there for just over a week and had planned on boring round a bit after 3 nights in SF. 

Not as windy as expected today, but not nice and rather looks as if the end of the world is nigh. Hope LINDY and Heather don't get caught up in stormy weather.  

Had a Monday swim (40 lengths) and exercises in the steam room. OH picked me up and we went to Eden Court to get tickets for the screening of The Royal Ballet dancing "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland which is showing next Monday.
