Welcome to a new week from a sunny spring afternoon in Adelaide.
Onwards and upwards, Heather! :-)
You're so right, LINDY. I'm planning to be out with middle daughter while the deed is done.

HEATHER It is sad, but the right thing to do.
Heather, thinking of you today as some of your trees go. Hoping the positives outweigh the negatives - more light in your garden, fewer leaves to clear up, perhaps an improvement in your view. I'm sure your OH would approve and would want your workload to be lightened. Special prayers for peace and acceptance of progress, however difficult.
Rain this morning so no walk for Benson. I will swim again, then coffee with a friend. OH has an appt for an endoscopy tomorrow. He was going to have it done with just a local, but today has said he would prefer to be sedated. I will have to bus in and then get a taxi home with him tomorrow afternoon as he can't be left alone after sedation.
Good Morning, All. Dry here at present.
Thinking of Heather today after her difficult decision.
Hoping that Annette is now recovering from her heavy cold.
Also thinking of all those who have sadly lost their homes in the appalling fires in California.
Crossed with your post, Dibnlib - sorry to hear that your OH has to have the unpleasant tests - hope all goes well.
Here's todays pic:
Good morning -
Thank you all for sending such positive and sensible thoughts. I used to be such a strong woman and am hoping that I will become so, again, (and the sooner the better!). The tree man should arrive shortly.
DIBNLIB - I don't blame your OH for choosing sedation. I would.
I heard that a 100 year old man and his 98 year old wife have perished in the Californian wildfires. Such destruction and loss of homes.
