I found myself recalling the raven imitating a mobile phone on the Dyfi nest two or three winters back. Brilliant.
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
I had my back to the cam, sorting out (trying to) Firefox addons, and when I turned around I saw a close-up of the upper body, rear view. When I checked back I was amazed to see that it was on the nest, not on the perch :o
Z8 had fled with fish in anticipation of the landing. Camperson went into a flat spin, it's going to be "fun" doing a video.

Z8 was eating on the nest with another on the perch...looked like Z7.
It obviously was because Z7 now has the fish on the nest.
Birdies LG DU update.

It was! ;) It was on the nest for nearly half an hour! I'm calling it a "young" buzzard, but you may tell me to alter my title ;)

Difficult to get snaps with no lens-smudges on critical areas :(
Then there was the crow or raven (I'm looking at the differences now and still can't tell which this is) who picked over the nest for 10 minutes:
Then LIMPY posted our juvies on the perch.
Now what's going on ??? !!! LOL
I feel a replay coming on.
