Hi everyone, a mixed day, intruders about, lots of shouting and shrieking and mantling. EJ and the young ones saw them off though.
Not sure how many fish, I think 4 were delivered. All had something to eat eventually, Greedy guts (#1) hogged fish when it could but I suppose that is the norm. Middle and younges still haven't fledged but whethe they will in the next few days who knows as the weather forecast is pretty grim for this part of the country
Leave you with the bairns all close together, sleeping. Happy viewing, see you in the morning.

Eldest has just flown back and landed on the cam post, middle one is looking what its doing , youngest is preening.
The two just love watching, all wide eyed. as Eldest does her 'superman' impression LoL . And here's EJ to take care of her own with an intruder about
Looks as though its intruder alert, EJ has just flown back onto the nest and is shouting away. Don't know whether its for Odin to come in or what. Both youngsters have turned round and are watching EJ and ducking down onto the nest.
EJ jsut returned to the nest shrieking and mantling. Not happy at all.

Intruder alert ... EJ came flying in ... an osprey flew off to the left ... don't know if it was Eldest or the intruder

Frantically shrieking and mantling.
Unknown said: Lynette: thanks for the summary. I saw some of the mantling and one fish being eaten, but only checked in for a short while. And now it's goodnight from you, and it's goodnight from me ;-) Oh ALICAT: fantastic closeup shot on yesterday's thread, was that taken on a monitor at the Centre? It looks far too sharp to be a webcam capture. I've copied it, hope you don't mind.
