Hi everyone, a mixed day, intruders about, lots of shouting and shrieking and mantling. EJ and the young ones saw them off though.
Not sure how many fish, I think 4 were delivered. All had something to eat eventually, Greedy guts (#1) hogged fish when it could but I suppose that is the norm. Middle and younges still haven't fledged but whethe they will in the next few days who knows as the weather forecast is pretty grim for this part of the country
Leave you with the bairns all close together, sleeping. Happy viewing, see you in the morning.

Hi Lynette, I can still hear EJ calling.
Grumble grumble ..... (heaves a sigh).. the weather at LG mirrors the weather where I am. And I just bet Eldest got the best of both fish and Middle chick is the one that came up short. I trust it did it the tail end EJ gave it - good beak strengthening exercise there.
EDIT - oh yes, sorry, ''Good (?) morining everyone''. The pic snappers did well in all the weather . Thank you girls.
Think from reading that lot, that we can say its a 'wind up'!
Been off here for a while ... friend called that I haven't seen for a while .... so long chat and cuppa. Not much seems to have happened nest-wise though. They seem to be having the heavy rain that we had through the night and was passing north ... according to the forecast :-) Sunny and warm here at the moment. I can hear EJ calling from somewhere, and I presume Eldest is on the post ... such a soggy scene.

Good morning all and have just caught up with the remainder of post from yesterday and today's so far. Thanks to everyone for all the news and some wonderful pics. Sounds and looks pretty miserable at LG and 2 rather wet youngsters preening on nest. I though when I logged on that I could hear EJ shrieking as though there was an intruder on the nest but not from the nest so she must have been sat in a tree close by. Glad to read 2 fish have been delivered and I am wondering when the 2 youngsters still on the nest are going to fledge. Probably not today as there does not seem to be any wind. I think we have it here they are forecasting gusts of 50 miles per hour. It looks much better at Loch of the Lowes today, no wind and no rain.
Had a good evening with an old work mate and we are going out to tonight so osprey watching curtailed once again.
Have a good day all.
Margobird
Eldest has just visited the nest, still two very damp young ospreys on the nest with EJ still calling off cam.
Hi Brenda H, DJoan S, Lindybird, Margobird and all you others. Damp conditions abound. Youngest , I think, doing an EJ impression of yoga.

I'm being a little 'thick' here Lindy - what have I missed. What's a 'wind up'. (sorry)
Eldest just gone flyabout ... and landed with a clunk and a shriek on the post :-)
Just caught wing stretching to the left of picture, which means all three chicks were on the nest. Ah, it has just flown away.
