You're exceptionally kind.
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
Hi from Original Goldfinch and Eagle-Eye. Busy day, but no Broadband at home since 9.30 am! BT say major fault in our area - repairs in hand but estimated take up to 18 hours! We'll be back when we can. This punched in slowly on mobile phone!

LINDY doubly cute
OG just been skimming through everyones post and this caught my eye. 49 years - congratulations ours is in a fortnights time. Make it you were married a fortnight before us in 1968. Loved your decking area and the plants are really set off on it.
Annette - we are going to be based in Hanover with excursions from there. There will be an overnight stop in Belgium both going and coming back. On the way they are going to take us to the Mohn Dam - dambusters fame. Visits will include Coem not far from Hanover, two towns in the Hartz mountain region, also a visit to Hamlin - Pied Piper story. In all should be quite interesting. Dau. has just taken herself off for a week in Bournemouth and will be back next week in time to drop us off at our coach meeting point.
Lindybird - glad you had a reasonable break in Wales.
Harelady - hope your lunch with the family went well and that you were able to celebrate and remember your daughter.

Lindy - know that road as we came back from N.Wales last year that way. Going we went through Snowdonia and dropped down just outside Caenarvon and on to our destination. It goes past the Colwyns and on to Conwy.
Heather - hope the service went ok.
OG - just plan to have a lovely day. OH passes his 75th this year and I had my 70th earlier in the year. Not sure what I would like to do for our 50th. OH would prefer a meal out I on the other hand would like an open house for a few hours and invite family and friends to share it with us. No doubt it will be decided nearer the time.
Clare - hi, will look at your pics.
Lindy - forgot to say - love your daily pics, always lifts one.
Been very windy here, showery with some sunshine.
Good Morning. Late today, as my OH left me to sleep in!!
Spoke to our d.in.law last night as they're preparing to go off on their holiday in Wales today. Hoping they get better weather than of late!
Hope that EE and OG can get back online today!!
Lynette -- glad you're enjoying the pictures. Here's today's:
