Solicitor coming for signatures this morning, then two of us out for lunch, so J will cook a main meal for himself and we shall have a snack meal together this evening.
Ospreys Rule OK, but Goldfinches come a close second!
Enjoy your day, OG and EE! And enjoy the hairdo, LINDY :-)
It is lovely morning here so gardening will happen. Grass cutting man is arriving at some point. I'd better keep clear of him and his lethal machines.
It has been along time since I posted on here, a big a Hi to everyone.
Clare and I are also Thinking of you and your family, Harelady.
Love to all of you

Hi LIMPY!
Best to you, CLARE and Helen.
I don't know what time the funeral is, today but it will be a sad sad day for HARELADY and her family.
Hi Limpy! Assume you, Clare and Helen are all busy and well. Pop in any time. :-)
Do wish there was some way we could all help Harelady on her path....
Supposed to get humid later this week, so will be out in the garden again for the next day or so.
Fabulous second round match between Konta and Vekic today. A championship-worthy game. Brilliant.
Yes. I rarely watch the women these days as I can't cope with all the grunting and screaming. So lovely to see a top-class match, played in a wonderful spirit, and no 'g and s'. Now then - what's Andy going to come up with?
I can't do with all the grunting and shrieking, either :-(
Not seen the tennis as too busy: had a pleasant lunch and chat (both had combo on offer of pea & ham soup, and tuna sandwich).
Minor dramas, one after another: my tiny toenail on smallest toe fell off, revealing stub of another one growing underneath! Then I bought liquid detergent, and found when back home that the lid wasn't fastened on properly and most things in the bag were covered in goo...... Luckily, had put meat and fish in a different bag. Then the hairdresser stabbed me in the forehead with the scissors..... "Ouch" I said, but she didn't seem to think it was too bad until she spied blood oozing out of it, and now I have a red gash! She was very apologetic, and I did the British thing of saying it didn't matter....
I also got caught up in two different traffic jams with temporary traffic lights as workmen busy. It's quite hot here this afternoon, so we are in the garden, under a parasol.
Day started with some rain till about 8:00am, people said they were cold at lunchtime (not me), it is now hoy and sunny and OH has power-washed the front path at last. Deck is progressing faster now.
Excellent lunch. The group had pre-ordered our choices, so no surprises. I started with Mozzarella, Basil and Tomato with Balsamic drizzle while OH had a Stuffed Flat Mushroom. My main was a Goat Cheese, Caramelised Onion and Roasted Veg Tart and he had Roast Gammon; all the mains said they came with new potatoes and mixed salad, but there were also beans and carrots on the plates - I gave OH my beans and enjoyed copious amounts of salad. I had Strawberries (without Ice Cream) and he had Summer Pudding, which he said was good.
HEATHER - I hope you didn't attempt too much in the garden!
LIMPY - good to see you popping in! Best wishes to the three of you.
ANNETTE - see what I wrote to HEATHER above! Take care.
PAT - I also avoid the Women's tennis for the same reason - but glad Johanna did well.
LINDA - I see you are back to the usual mishaps - why do these things happen to you?!
OH and J are now preparing chicken wraps - so more salad!
Missed Andy due to mulch duties (and OG, I'll let you know tomorrow if I overdid it). :-) Now Nadal is playing. I see Roger is on for tomorrow. Also Venus. Can't stand the grunting and screaming either which, in retrospect, also made this morning's match between Konta and Vekic so enjoyable. Both are players to watch...
