A lot of activity yesterday as opposed to the quiet the previous day. The most surprising thing happened early in the day when scylla saw an unringed male osprey (most likely PU) land on EJ's back momentarily, paddling, before flying off. And EJ did not protest! THEN... it happened AGAIN! (scylla's video of 2nd time) Had to rub my eyes on those captures and videos! Once she flew off, the camera person caught THREE osprey flying in the distance! (by Moffer)
Later, the camera person spied EJ hanging out in the lookout tree and also in the camera tree. (by BNN) After that, she revolved through the nest, the cam post, the tree until the end of the day. Speaking of the day, our very own Catlady was at LG viewing all the excitement IN THE FLESH and provided us with a spirited account! After this, I'm ready for a nap.
More importantly, is PU EJ's major suitor, and where is FC8???

All I heard was the tweets of that small bird Mike, so opened up the cam to look, and there she was EJ standing there looking all around.
Camera a bit fuzzy

Having a right old wing flap.
Birdies LG DU update.
Who is she looking at I wonder
What happened there, I was on other thread when an almighty bang, and screeching from EJ I suppose, can still hear it now.
Scrolled back, EJ had left the nest in silence. Then a bit later she landed back on the nest only for a few seconds then flew off screaming.
EJ on the nest mantling furiously. I think PU could have been there too, will have to scroll back to see what happened.
Good Morning all EJ seems calmer now....pottering
Yes it was PU on the nest with EJ, she was mantling badly. I don't think EJ really fancies him at all. :-) Where the hang has FC8 got to, she liked him.
Sorry for the blurry photos, but on the YouTube cam its very fuzzy.
Maybe Moffer, Scylla or Birdie can get good snips if they are recording.
EJ is still on the nest looking out.
She has flown
