HAPPY NEW WEEK and HAPPY SUMMER SOLSTICE!
The solstice is on Wednesday.
I hope everyone has a wonderful week. There's a white-tailed deer fawn like this one on my patch. Her mother takes her across to the creek for a drink of water every day at dawn.

I've not had time to come on here much today, so missed the offending post. But I can imagine it.......
I see it's been taken down. We have a friendly atmosphere here and don't need politics to liven us up, or cause dissention.
In fact, I would go so far as to say that a lot of people find solace in enjoyment of birds and wildlife, with like minded people, in order to escape for a while from the offensive bits of human interaction.
Lindybird: The so-called offending post was from a Monty Python skit with a caption referring to Brexit negotiations. I wasn't offended - and it wasn't unfriendly.
I don't mind Alan's occasional rants; if anyone else doesn't like them,I suggest you just ignore them. Responding only makes a mountain out of a molehill.
Pat O: I don't know the course, but it does sound like quite a feat. Definitely something worth "boasting" about. Congratulations.
Good Morning. Sunny and very bright here, again.
Hoping to hear how our car is getting on at the garage - we drove all the way to Hyde yesterday to leave it with a specialist garage for diagnostic tests.
Here's today's pic:
"I'm writing a cat-alogue of complaints!"
Our cats need to take lessons then!!
Our Margo would have loved this news:

Ospreys Rule OK, but Goldfinches come a close second!
Still hot and sunny – but we do have a nice (warm) breeze) here.
Pat – that is such great news – congratulations on your achievement! Enjoy the rest of your week – but apparently weather changes tomorrow.
Linda – hope the car turns out okay!
I guess it’s a gardening day for OH today – so more fresh air for me outside – catching up on the vitamin D I missed in spring!
Another great day in the garden and the front is totally trimmed, weeded etc - even passes my inspection as "finished" - although OH might treat the grass tonight if not too breezy (in anticipation of tomorrow's rain). Has started some weeding etc in back garden, although right now busy coking early dinner as J is going to watch the seniors' production of "Annie" at the Academy.
Decking man has started making supports for the frame for the new deck.
