A marvelous day of viewing EJ in top form, on various perches. Kudos to the cam operator following her around! However at the end of the day skydancing was heard and feather rustles and a sweet EJ chirp from the nest. We wondered if she was being enticed by a suitor. Finally, Les Carr, veteran LG'er, left us with more and especially descriptive photos of the Forward Hide! They are keepers (and enlargeable so click away)! :)

Morning CC, I realised late last night that the photo's I'd put up wouldn't be seen the next day (Which is the 6th of June not 5th) so I was pleased to see them at the top of the page, thanks for that, I have an old picture of the camera tree with the camera platform still in place, I thought it would be good for people to know why it' is called " the camera tree" but it keeps saying it is too big to upload.

Good morning all. The mic sounds a bit waterlogged. I couldn't work out what the strange call was, and then it clicked, muffled Crow :D

Tweet from LG last eve
Scylla, your vids and pics are great. I'm sure that the bird that flew past was a male. No shouting from EJ. Has she found a toy boy?
Love the pics Les. Thank you.
It's plink plonk raining :o(

Morning. Thank you Scylla, Moffer, Mike,CC for the early updates. Very wild and windy here. If it's like this at LG we might not get much skydancing today. Good to see that EJ has had an early morning visit to the nest. I wonder if she has gone fishing? It might not be easy.

Thanks, LES - CC is in the eastern United States so she's 5 hours behind us - I'm sure she'll edit the thread title when she arrives later today :)

Thanks, MOFFER, but I'd missed EJ's fly-in, have added a snap :(
On the plus side, I'm gratified that I also thought it was a crow - but not the confidence to say so ;-)

Yuck what a drippy day. Looks like it's headed here, too.
Thank you, CC :)

And I'm going to pack up for a while, SYAL - by which time I hope you'll have lots more pics of EJ and maybe even a young man :)
