DAILY UPDATE ~ Loch Garten Nest ~ Tuesday, 6 June 2017

Morning CC, I realised late last night that the photo's I'd put up wouldn't be seen the next day (Which is the 6th of June not 5th) so I was pleased to see them at the top of the page, thanks for that, I have an old picture of the camera tree with the camera platform still in place, I thought it would be good for people to know why it' is called       " the camera tree" but it keeps saying it is too big to upload.

Good morning all. The mic sounds a bit waterlogged. I couldn't work out what the strange call was, and then it clicked, muffled Crow :D

Morning. Thank you Scylla, Moffer, Mike,CC for the early updates. Very wild and windy here. If it's like this at LG we might not get much skydancing today. Good to see that EJ has had an early morning visit to the nest. I wonder if she has gone fishing? It might not be easy.

Thanks, LES - CC is in the eastern United States so she's 5 hours behind us - I'm sure she'll edit the thread title when she arrives later today :)

Thanks, MOFFER, but I'd missed EJ's fly-in, have added a snap :(

On the plus side, I'm gratified that I also thought it was a crow - but not the confidence to say so ;-)

HAH - done. I swear I edited it last night, but no. Here is the enlargement of Les' forward hide shot in which there is a sheet of osprey perches. It's a bit blurry but you can see the cam tree in the center.
