The season so far:
Mrs G arrived back on the 22nd March followed later by her mate, Aran on the 7th April. Mrs G laid three eggs on the 19th, 22nd, and 25th April and have now hatched. #1 hatched on the 26th, #2 on the 27th and #3 on the 29th May.
Aran has also been visiting and providing for the female, Blue 5F at a nearby nest referred to as the Traeth or Pont Croesor nest. Blue 5F laid three eggs on the 28th April, 2nd and 4th May. One egg was predated by a crow on the 4th May and the remaining two are due to hatch later this week.
Aran has been seen more at his own nest and is regularly providing fish for Mrs G and the chicks but has not delivered any fish to Blue 5F since Saturday 27 May. Soon we should learn if Aran has abandoned Blue 5F and her eggs.

Hi Patily.
Birdies LG DU update.
Fish now available and two chicks up for food.
#3 had his share and now Aran is there having his. No one else interested.
This was the scene when I started my morning 'trawl'.

Just after posting this Mrs G turned up and Aran went to the perch. She seemed to be watchful and agitated. Has flown and been away for a while now. I wonder if there is a female intruder about?
Mrs G just flown in.

2016: first time in history an Osprey nested in the NL. 2018: 2 active nests! 2019 a storm interferes. 2020: a third active nest in a tree!
Ok count the chicks please! It looks as if there may be a stowaway there?
