During her morning stint on the nest, EJ displayed a flapping-squealing-screaming fit (scylla's vid) but without the usually distinctive intruder alarm calls. A later event was reported in reference to a FB post that EJ had been eating a fish on a perch below the nest after which she took off after an intruder, an event recorded in yesterday's DU. Also on a lighter note was the information from a new poster that the oft-reported very cute redstarts seen pilfering EJ feathers actually have a nest on the first floor of Osprey Mansion. :)
I am back in town now --- thank you all for the reports over the last two days.

EJ is on the nest - one? chirp (no, a few, I was doing something else), so quiet apart from wing rustle...
The wing rustle:
She's been chilling on one leg ever since :o Looking over her shoulder now...
I was getting live captures from VLC when it froze >:(
She was picking over the nest, quite contentedly it seemed:
Looking fabulous :-*
Flown. It will be a long time before I do a video, because I have a plan.
