Get over it - this is real life.  Think of all the Animal's and Birds of whom we don't see into the daily lives; there is life, there is death.  Wildlife accepts them, so must we.

The other day I found on my dining room carpet a tiny figure: our dog had brought us something in from the garden. But it must have been already dead, as it was a tiny, perfectly formed but naked baby bird. We decided it must have been inside an egg which had been dislodged from a nest, or predated. I felt sad to think that it had never had a life, but that's life........I gently picked it up, and it was consigned to the kitchen bin. When I'm gone, I will no longer be...ashes to ashes, as they say in the burial service. But apparently we are all made from carbon. This is what the stars we see in the sky are made from. I look forward to joining in the Circle of Life.

Winds now kicking up as well. Cam is buffering/freezing quite often now.

Oh look at EJ. How sad and poignant. Sitting all damp on the nest when she could be perched and sheltering in a tree. Very sad.

By the way, I do agree that this thread should be for the daily update and maybe the odd comment. All the pictures today of EJ with the fish, EJ in flight, EJ on the nest and even the intruder have told the story. Not many comments have been needed. Thank you to you clever people who can do that!
