A damp morning yesterday, but Odin delivered breakfast of a fat tail at 7.09 and a lovely whole fish at 15.43. EJ brought a cross shaped branch in, which caused her some problems placing, and our hero Odin, sorted the nest out. LG treated us to roving cam this afternoon, and when it reached 6pm, a joint effort was made to alert them that it hadn't been switched back. Thank you to FH for taking and passing on the message, and a huge thank you, to the member of staff that returned to the VC to switch the cam back.
We have now reached 36 days since egg#1 was laid. Will it hatch today?
EJ is asleep at the moment, but we watch and listen for the sound of tiny talons.

That made me jump :)
I can hear what sounds like Gulls??? EJ heard it too.
A little while ago I heard a loud Tawny Owl, and then realised that it was here, outside my back garden, lol.
She's all tucked in now, head under her wing

I have a man with a pneumatic drill turning up in the morning to take my front path up and relay it 3" lower. Some fool widened it in the past, right up to the wall and covered the damp course, so I have a damp bedroom wall. I better try to grab a couple of hours sleep while I can. All looks calm on the nest, but I am recording, just in case
