Perhaps Odin knows about the imminent hatching since he has delivered 2 fish yesterday. Lassie LotL had her first hatch and Maya at Manton Bay welcomed her 2nd. We had some lovely shots of Odin and EJ in flight both from the fish perch and at the nest. Lmac visited Loch Garten and has promised to post pics today! EJ is now tucked in and the feather that shot out yesterday is more deeply embedded in the nest edge.© RSPB - Loch Garten and Carnyx Wild

Good morning.
11.41 EJ is clearly in no hurry to ea her fish, but seems to be hunched over bracing against the strong wind.
11.44 EJ intruder calls from her perch. Whoever it was passed by.

Pesky crow, what a cheek!
Crow calling,
Oooer. I assume the camperson is trying to get the crow v EJ in screen, but the crow has just flown, so back in focus.
Odin is calling. EJ has flown
EJ's had enough and with a call she has flown from the dead tree....to...? I haven't heard her land, but there is now further call. Cam still on the dead tree
Must be busy in the VC
