The season so far:
Mrs G arrived back on the 22nd March and her mate, Aran on the 7th April. Mrs G laid three eggs on the 19th, 22nd, and 25th April. Currently both adults are taking turns to incubate the eggs which are expected to hatch around the end of May.
At the nearby second platform, the Traeth nest, Blue 5F has laid an egg on the 28th April which is likely to be Arans!!

Karen W said:Mrs G has dragged the fish across the chicks placing it in the cup with the chicks and now covered the chicks and the fish!
Well done, MrsG! :)
Karen W said:I hope the chicks are OK!
I'd better do a vid to complement your great captures, Karen :)
IMAGICAT
I am still gobsmacked at what she did.
A vid of this would be great - thanks SCYLLA :-)
Wow, clever Mrs G.

Me too, having watched it now :o
(I can't actually see this nest unless I turn around, I rely on "flashes of action" catching my eye, or reports in the thread, except when I'm doing a catchup.)
Including a shot of Big Bad Wolf on the perch, some egg-pip, and (partial) recovery of chicks.

GREAT snap of the egg Scylla - well done gal
and BRILLIANT video clap clap clap
Thank you Scylla, goodness I've never seen that before.
I'm a bit busy just now so not constantly watching but a few minutes ago I noticed Aran wasn't about.
Just looked and see him back on the perch with a fish!!
I wonder if this is another or if he got the one from under Mrs G?
I suppose we'll soon find out when she rises!
No he wasn't away fishing. There is no fish under her now so its the same fish which Aran must have picked up at some point.
Mrs G started calling and Aran immediately returned with it.
Both bobs up for fish
both getting fed
