The season so far:
Mrs G arrived back on the 22nd March and her mate, Aran on the 7th April. Mrs G laid three eggs on the 19th, 22nd, and 25th April. Currently both adults are taking turns to incubate the eggs which are expected to hatch around the end of May.
At the nearby second platform, the Traeth nest, Blue 5F has laid an egg on the 28th April which is likely to be Arans!!

The comments re the Glaslyn PC nest concern me greatly too Lmac, appearing that the 'aren't we clever brigade' think that this is the way to hasten osprey re-colonisation. Last season was bad enough. A good rethink is needed before the next one. (PC nest and refurbishment of main platform)
I think this is Mrs G with a fish but happy to be corrected.
Aran on the nest Jane and Mrs G on the perch as you say.
Birdies LG DU update.
Mrs G incubating just now. Only a few days until the first hatch due here - 26th I think?

Glaslyn FB update of last night:
www.facebook.com/.../814526442030942
"On Sunday Aran spent most of his day incubating the eggs at both nests. The greater portion of time was spent on the Glaslyn nest as the figures below show.
PC Nest : 08:04 - 08:26 = 22 mins
10:11 - 12:19 = 2 hrs 8 mins
Sub-Total = 2 hrs 30 mins
Glaslyn : 15:13 - 18:25 = 3 hrs 12 mins
with only an 11 minute gap in-between)
18:36 - 20:58 = 2 hrs 22 mins
Sub-Total = 5 hrs 34 mins
Grand Total = (2hrs 30mins + 5hrs 34mins) = 8 hrs 4 mins
Yes, just over 8 hours between 08:04 in the morning and 20:58 in the evening. Plus he went out fishing for both 5F and Mrs G. He's amazing!
We are recording all fish brought to each nest.
Also time spent incubating at each nest."
