The season so far:
33(11) and Maya both arrived back within hours of each other on the 22nd March. Maya surprised us this year by laying four eggs on the 4th, 7th, 10th and 13th April. Currently both adults are taking turns to incubate the eggs which are expected to hatch in the second/third week in May.

33 returned a few minutes ago with a small stick. Maya flew off and 33 now incubating

Maya has returned and taken over again.
33 not happy just now! he jumped up off the eggs and flapping his wings
33 now sheltering the eggs
Maya has returned - both looking alert
Maya now flapping and she has taken off. Maya quickly returns
33 takes off obviously to give chase.
33 has now returned. Maya settles on eggs and 33 remains alert.

33 was incubating and he is now flapping his wings vigorously. Now mantling and alarm calling!
Maya is back on the nest and 33 is off after the intruders.
