Another day in paradise for EJ and Odin, including a couple fish for EJ, with teasing flybys by Odin just to keep his lady interested. A few of us had begun counting days until hatchage, estimated by Moffer at about May 16th. All quiet, no wind, and EJ tucked in for the night.© RSPB - Loch Garten and Carnyx Wild

Good Morning all when you arrive
Odin incubating Does that mean there has been fish?
C Loch Garten
I hope so, Patily. He's still there:
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
Good morning Patily and Clare. Looks like MC has not reset her bodyclock!
Birdies LG DU update.
Good Morning everyone
I think Odin is having 40 winks now and then.
I wonder if he did bring breakfast for EJ.

Odin is having a fidget:
We're off out today so see you all later.
8:15, peeking in finding EJ back on eggs...
2016: first time in history an Osprey nested in the NL. 2018: 2 active nests! 2019 a storm interferes. 2020: a third active nest in a tree!
8:32 and a few minutes of WWN, showing eggs, WWN again, to moss or not to moss, showing eggs again, WWN... fidgeting?
I'm here after a v-e-r-y long sleep! Booking this space to put the catchup in, before it gets even later.
CATCHUP
I rained on 'n off overnight, heavily enough to make EJ wet:
DAYCAM 0530hr
EJ was "fish-calling", but was it fish-calling? Because Odin arrived @ 0605hr most definitely fishless!
Movie evidence, just in case you don't trust my pants snaps ;)
EJ was gone for over 2 hours !?
Odin took no persuading to leave ;)
