Easter Sunday brought a relatively quiet domestic day to the nest, switching off incubation of the three eggs. Chris at LG credited us in helping identify the arrival time of the third egg. Nice honor to be considered part of the LG team! At present EJ is awake and watchful on the nest.

Were those chirps uncomfortable? ... the continuation is more routine.

She's still chirping away, and with a vocabulary I only hear from EJ :-*
Coffee No2 time :)
Back with coffee and the above 2 lines are just sitting here waiting for me - RF is more reliable, when it's not unresponsive ;)
FISH?
scylla said: FISH?
Yes :) All very calm. EJ didn't even have to take it from him, he released it onto the nest and she is now chirping in the distance, so she's pleased with it even tho it was more than headless... only half, I'd say.
Then he blocked our view:
Odin happy egg-sitting on a defrosted nest :)
Quiet on the nest, quiet here - let's get breakfast :)
I heard you! Apart from EJ's chirping this was a peaceful changeover.
Good morning, all! I'm pleased to hear she's had some fish.
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
Good morning all.
Wing stretch
Birdie Num Num's brilliant DU summary 2017
Behaviour a little strange - chirped and spread a wing and laboured up to turn eggs - I thought for one (terrifying) moment that we'd see a fourth egg ;-D
Up again, chirping.
Flown.
